‘To Catherine, Thank you for the Invisible String and all your help. Me and my mum and dad would like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU’
(Young Person, aged 8 yrs)
‘I chose Sunflower Cognitive Therapies because of a post on Facebook. It was the best decision I have ever made. Catherine is so professional yet friendly and welcoming. I had been suffering with really bad anxiety and panic attacks and I was scared of my own shadow. Even the thought of going for therapy caused me panic but within 5 minutes of my first session with Catherine I felt put at ease and connected with her straight away. I am a completely different person to who I was a year ago and everyone has noticed. I finally feel happy with myself and my life is so much better. Thank you Catherine xx’

‘Before sessions with Catherine, I was terrified of and lived in fear of spiders. Constantly on the lookout for them, never opening windows or putting my feet on the floor, or spending much time in the garden. Catherine’s sessions were always clear and insightful – teaching me ways to cope with my irrational fear through practical methods and rational thinking. She was always approachable and easy to talk with, listened to my fears and guided me exceptionally well. I’m a completely different woman now and I’m no longer held back! I open windows (daily!), keep my feet planted on the ground and often venture into the garden/shed to crack on with the weeding etc like everyone else. Highly recommend to anyone held back by fear/anxiety – Thank you Catherine!!’

“Catherine is a very knowledgeable, professional and supportive young woman. My son was in a very low place before meeting her, with her support he is now empowered to deal with life and what it throws at him. He is in control of his OCD, something he once thought was never possible.”
“These last six sessions have really made a massive impact on my life, from not going out and being scared to go to the shop, going out with friends and loads more. Thank you for your massive help.”

“After being recommended to Catherine by a family member because I was feeling down a lot, I now realise I was suffering with depression/anxiety and low mood swings. After a very short period of time of sessions together, my world feels a lot brighter than it did and I can’t thank Catherine enough for her professionalism and caring nature towards her work. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough to people looking for a ray of light through dark clouds!”

“Catherine listened to me and helped me see the bigger picture.”
(Student, aged 16 yrs)
“A huge thank you for delivering assemblies to our students this week.
You provided a really concise and informative account of the challenges young people face, as well as engaging with students using the clip from Inside Out, which depicted different emotions and conflicting inner thoughts. It was extremely reassuring for students to have an awareness of who to contact for support, including yourself.”

“… has been able to speak with an impartial person regarding his past events and has been made to feel comfortable. He can to now bring these home and speak to me about it.”
“… As a health care professional, I know that many people suffer from anxiety and often need help. I have had experiences in the past with therapy that have been positive and negative. However, since starting my journey, Catherine has helped me to realise I can take control and that my past does not determine the future. It hasn’t been easy and I’ve had to deal with some difficult subjects but it has been enlightening with many ‘lightbulb moments’. What I do know is I will get there and that my anxiety is nothing to be ashamed of.”
